Tests common TCP ports from our server location (default 12 ports, optional custom ports/ranges up to 30 total) with automatic timeout retry, per-port service fingerprint hints, implicit-TLS certificate checks, explicit STARTTLS or STLS or AUTH TLS certificate handshakes on upgrade-capable ports, and live HTTP response evidence on web ports.
